I always like the story behind the photo. As someone who does a lot of family and pet photography, shooting a bee scientist was a particularly fascinating project.

This photo shows one of the nation's leading bee scientists, Dr. Chelsea Cook, as she examines this swarm of bees, checking their activity in order to monitor the hive's health.
